Rue Products
The rue herb is used for protection. It is also used for prosperity and money drawing – so many reasons to add ruda to your magical day!
It can be used in baths and candles, and it can be carried in pouches. Rue is associated with the planets Mars and Saturn and the element fire. It is also associated with the Goddesses Hecate and Diana.
Rue is one of the more popular plants a Santero will use in purification rituals. In cleansing ceremonies called despojos, the plants will be tied together in bunches and rubbed on a person. Rue is often an ingredient in lustral or purifying baths used to rid the bather of evil spirits or negative influences.
The ancient Romans believed rue could protect the user from the evil eye.
Ruda Herb – Add the Ruda herb to your bath water to help break all types of hexes that have been cast upon you. We have these in prepared products
1 1-4oz Rue (ruda) Aromatic Bath Herb –Preparation is generally to steep the herbs in boiling water, strain the mixture, let the liquid cool, and pour it over the body while standing in a wash tub.
